Atlanta Fellows – The Atlanta Fellows are members, spouses, businesses, and other organizations that support unbudgeted projects of the Atlanta Chapter with a $200 donation. Such donations have supported our Sacred Soils Displays, Bushnell Monument dedication, VA Hospital portico project, Kettle Creek Battlefield Association, Color Guard, and Flag Receptacle program as well as funding our Chapter Banner and SAR Table Cover. Donations toward chapter sponsored events such as Wreaths Across America also credit toward the Atlanta Fellow program. Join our Atlanta Fellows whose donations help support our extended outreach programs which have been recognized by the Georgia Society SAR as best in Georgia in 2013 and 2014. Color Guard – The Atlanta Chapter maintains a color guard that is outfitted in authentic Revolutionary War uniforms. This unit performs many functions both within the Chapter and throughout the community. Please click here to learn more about our Color Guard.
Grave Dedication – The Sons of the American Revolution are committed to the remembrance and honor of the Patriots that served our country in its struggle for independence. One aspect of this involves the dedication of the graves of Patriots that are located and identified. The dedication involves a ceremony, the placement of a SAR plaque at the grave site which acknowledges his patriotic service during the Revolutionary War and placement in the SAR Patriot Grave Registry.
